The C.N.Y.

Monday is a big bore after a 10-day CNY holidays.

I was late to work in the morning because some damned birds were singing outside the windows of my bedroom, distracting my awareness in deep sleep to realize that it was not a sunny holiday anymore! I jumped out of the bed when a beam of sunlight shone thru the window and landed on my ass.

Nobody had mood to work today. I thought I was the only one who got late. Haha. I reached office 10 minutes late but still earlier than my manager and a colleague.

Talking of holiday, I had a bad injury on my toe.

The night before CNY eve, a 3-feet tall speaker beside the TV in my living room fell on my toe from the speaker stand when I was helping to move the stuff back in place after my brother painted the wall. And then I was lame for the following 3 days of CNY. My active space was limited. The toe had swollen up with bruises. Yellow and purple.

Was it a kind of sign telling me something in the beginning of the year?
