Sickness

I was knocked down by flu and fever for 4 days. Really hate lying on the bed like a sickman. I'm sick of it.

Yanlee called last nite, 'You better go see doc now, if still feel sick better dun goto work.'
'Ok..Ok.. I will.' I answered.

Well I still have to go to work today~~
Then another call from Yanlee this morning at work, 'Are u okay now? Feeling better? If you are still feeling sick take leave or MC, go home and rest~'

Suddenly i dun feel sick anymore. I feel that my best friend started to repeat the sentence she just said. Just like my mum. Haha. Yah, my mum always repeats what she just says, my mum would say more than 3 times on the same thing just remind us to do something that we're not willing to do. *Oh well.. I'm not complaining here. It's so great to have a best friend like Yanlee. Appreaciate her concern always! :)

But she noticed something afterall, 'Eh..? How come suddenly I become your mum?'
Haha. I love my mum and my best friend.

P/S: ...and my mum thought that I might have Dengki *touch-woood*, she kept asking me to do a full medical checkout in the hospital. *Duh*

Nic is back for good~

When Cat was filled with a little feeling that Nic might be going back to US again, I told Nic to stop complaining about life in Malaysia in the car when I brought her to Rum Jungle to meet up with Fanny and her own friends. Yes. Rum Jungle, not the one in Las Vegas. But the one off Jalan P.Ramlee in KL!

Nic just kinda reminds me of my life when I just came back from the US. I was basically complaining about the weather, the government, the crowd, the attitude of the customer services, the traffic, the rude drivers and sidewalkers, the irrational consumer right, etc.. blah.. blah.. almost everything. And now it's Nic's turn. Hehe.

When a car suddenly took over me in front of a junction, I heard Nic shouting, 'Stupid Asshole!!!' to that rude driver.
When the traffic was so bad and we were stuck inside the car for nearly 30 min, I heard Nic saying, 'Why the hell are all these cars jamming here~!'

Then I said,'Nic, it's only traffic light. You see, it's red light...'
She said, 'Damn I wanna go back to US...'
'Nic, see that? Red.. light..'

Cat, I think your wish will become true, soon. Hehe.


P/S: I think this is life for all oversea graduates who come back to Malaysia for good. First you complain, then you get used to the complaints. You have to learn to fit yourself into this place where you were born. Sound weird. Just learn to get a new life.

Dengue.. Dengki

I received a sudden message from Lilian, saying she couldnt attend Brian and Cherlyn's wedding this Sunday because she was hospitalized.

I was shocked and texted her, 'What happened? Which hospital?' She didn't reply, and the phone was engaged all nite.

Then the day after I called her. She told me she got Dengue (Dengki). So I went to SJMC to visit her after work. She was in the Intensive Care Unit. At first I never thought this could be so serious. The nurse said her platelet cell dropped from normal 140 to 4...If it dropped to 1, she would get internal bleeding and game over.

Lilian seemed getting better after 4 packs of blood being delivered to her body. I judged that she's okay when I saw her pressing phone calculator to count the medical charges, and she said it's bloody expensive to stay in the hospital for so many days.

'Lil, take care of your health first lah! Health is more important now~!' I said.
She sighed, 'it's boring here~~' She's always an energetic girl, but now she's like a gasless balloon. I bought her some magazines to spend the boring night.

She might need more blood. Totally 6 packs of blood will be delivered but might need more. Think I have to donate some for her tomorrow if she needs.


P/S: I got a few mosquito bites on my legs these few days. Hmmm..? Damn. better see doc immediately if i have fever.
