If you were me, what would you do?

Ever heard of a Chinese saying, people throw stones on you when you fall into a well... Would you climb up from the well and get hit by more stones? Or stay down there under the water to avoid more injury?

I'm doing myself a favor. To avoid being hit by stones again, I stay as a hermit.
